Read and Review is a Gold Country Writers program that meets four times a year, in January, April, July, and October. For each meeting, a GCW member’s published book is chosen as the meeting’s focus. Those who plan to attend are invited to read the book before the meeting.
At the meeting, the author gives a short presentation of the book. Everyone is then invited to share their thoughts and reviews of the work. Meetings are friendly and informal. All books chosen for the program are available for check-out in our GCW Library, (contact GCW Librarian Kathryn Shields).
Kelly Lardner (lrdnr@yahoo.com) is the coordinator for Read and Review.
The four-times-yearly meetings are scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays, at Depoe Bay Coffee Roasters, at 893 High Street, in Auburn. More precise information about each individual meetings can be found in our newsletter, The Dispatch, available here on this website. Check the Dispatch for the exact date and for the selected book for an upcoming meeting.
