Award-winning photographer, published author, poet, master gardener, teacher, mathematics consultant, inventor, and spiritual seeker are but a few of the words that describe Brenda Sue Pignata. One must also add titles of wife, mother, grandmother and a great-grandmother called Nana Sue. A new title is that of caregiver to her husband. She is currently writing a book about the experience.
Pignata grew up in Arkansas, but currently lives in Rescue, California. She holds degrees from The University of the Ozarks and the University of the Pacific. Working as a mathematics teacher, a National Mathematics Consultant, and a Director of Professional Development defined her work life. Sincee retirement she has turned her attention to gardening, photography, genealogy, nonfiction writing, poetry, publishing, and bookbinding.
