Celebration of 100-Word Story Contest and Poetry Contest

Wednesday, April 29, is a fifth Wednesday, and Gold Country Writers will have a special celebration of 100-Word Story and Poetry Contest winners. The event is called “Hats Off,” so wear a hat and bring a potluck dish (GCW will provide sandwiches).

All entries will be read by the writers, and the top three chosen by out-of-club judges will be honored.

Members who entered the 100-Word Story contest are: Dan Araujo, Jody Brady, Judith Brooks, Gina Caldrone, Mac Daly, Sheila Lopez, Michael Petit, Joli Roberts, Charletta Spinks, Kathleen Ward, Nanci Woody, Barbara Young.

Members who entered the Poetry contest are: Jody Brady, Catharine Bramkamp, Judith Brooks, Mac Daly, Mary Jones, Sue McMahon, William O’Daly, Michael O’Haver, Susan Osborn, Michael Pettit, Sarah Pressler, Georgette Unis, and Nanci Woody.
