Barbara Olson Lawrence

Barbara Olson Lawrence discovered writing after retiring from Chabot Community College, where she was referred to as the Library Goddess. As a single mom, living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at CSUH and exhibited her work in San Francisco Bay Area art galleries and museums. For many years, she was a volunteer Cuddler in the NICU at Alta Bates Hospital. She now lives in Auburn where she enjoys gardening and walking her dog while she collects fallen leaves for later drawings using her favorite pencil.
