Kelly Lardner has been a member of Gold Country Writers since 2018. Historical fiction is Kelly’s favorite genre. “I’ve gone down many rabbit holes just by doing the research, and I love it.”
The Keeper of All Good Things, a family memoir, was her first attempt at writing a novel and was published in 2021. Her second novel, Rose Beads, published in 2023, is the saga of three generations of strong women and takes place in the early years of the last century.
In August 2025, Kelly published her third novel, Spies Like Us, a mystery-romance that takes place in the California Delta at the end of WW2. It is the first of the Simone Donovan Mystery series.
Her most recent two novels are written under her pen name Ké Ridolfi.
