My first memory of storytelling dates back to when I was about ten years old. I woke up to find both of my sisters watching me. When I asked what was going on, they told me I had just told them an entire story in my sleep. Fortunately, all of my storytelling and writing since then has been done while I’m awake.

For most of my adult life, my writing has focused on professional work. As an analyst, I have written primarily for grant proposals, reports, documentation, and analyses.

My one “published” work is a short story I submitted to a writers’ guild contest in 2014, where I was awarded third place.

In the 1990s, I began writing a novel that remained tucked away in a desk drawer, receiving only occasional updates—until this year. My quest for 2026 is to finally complete it. In the meantime, I am working on a children’s picture book for my grandchildren and hope to see it published soon.
