Mac Daly is an author and poet. She has written several short stories and a mystery novel with magical elements. She is also the author of Miew Haikiew, a collection of feline haiku poetry. A life-long lover of books and stories, she has been writing mystery stories since she read her first Nancy Drew novel at the age of eight. Her short story, “On the Train,” was included in the 2026 Malice Domestic Anthology, “Mystery Most Senior.” Mac is a member of Gold Country Writers, and serves on the board of the Capitol Crimes, Sisters in Crime chapter. Mac loves to travel and when she’s not on the road, you can find her at home in the foothills of California Gold Country with her husband another cats Trippi Longstalking and Percy Jackson.
