Catharine Bramkamp


Catharine is a writing coach, workshop facilitator, and author of 22 books including fiction, non-fiction and poetry anthologies. Catharine holds a BA in English from UCSB and a MA in English from Sonoma State University. She raised her two boys in Sonoma County and was an active member of Redwood Writers. Now living in Nevada City, she serves on the board for the Nevada County Arts Council, the Empire Club, and the organizing committees for the Sierra Poetry Festival and the Sierra Writers Conference. She lectures for OLLI at Sierra College and the OLLI program at University of Hawaii. In addition, she runs week-long writing workshops and a bi-monthly critique group.

Catharine is a world traveler. She dances with the belly dancing troupe, Jewels of the Yuba. She helps her husband make wine and loves to create intellectual poetry that no one reads.

She has written a few books that people do read and is working on book three of the Sexy After Sixty series, Sunk Cost.
