I grew up in Staten Island NY, graduated St. John’s University in 1985. Moved to Los Angeles, where I worked in accounting, but produced and directed my own independent feature films on the weekends over the next two years. “Reflex Action” aired on ABC and streamed on Netflix.
After starting a family, I moved to Novato in Northern California, where I was a special ed teacher at the local middle school. There I started and ran its film festival for 15 years, making movies with general education and special ed students. After leaving that school in 2021, I was featured in the Marin Independent Journal.

I moved to Granite Bay and am now retired working on my first book, a chapter book for kids. I plan on continuing with this series and also making documentaries. I am an avid hiker in Auburn and love seeing classic movies at theaters and drive-ins.
